Job Description:

Open Education is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors to join our team. As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic growth and success. You will provide online tutoring sessions, tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Our tutors create a supportive and engaging learning environment, utilising effective teaching strategies and resources to enhance students’ understanding of various subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct online tutoring sessions, delivering personalised instruction and guidance.
• Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement to develop customised lesson plans.
• Foster a positive learning atmosphere, promoting student engagement and confidence.
• Provide constructive feedback and assist with students’ learning goals and challenges.
• Utilise effective teaching methods and resources to facilitate student understanding and academic progress.
• Maintain regular communication with students and their families to track progress and address any concerns.

The Successful Applicant:

• Possesses a strong academic background in the relevant subject(s).
• Demonstrates exceptional knowledge and expertise in their field.
• Has prior tutoring or teaching experience (preferred, but not required).
• Displays excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibits patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed.
• Is reliable, organised, and able to effectively manage tutoring sessions.
